THE STRUCTURE
The writing for this album began in the winter of 2009. It came with the storms and cold weather. It took a little over two months to finish. From within the fabric of the songs a story appeared. That story became 'The Structure Of Recollection'.
'The Structure Of Recollection' is a folk album claiming its heritage from 60's British folk revivalists such as Fairport Convention, Martin Carthy, Pentangle, The Incredible String Band and Nick Drake. The music explores Gypsy Jazz, Tangos, Psychedelia and Traditional Folk, whilst always retaining an ear for Pop melodies and hooks.
This album features the talent of many artists. Each of them brought a unique gift for musical expression. All of them helped to create the rich tapestry of sound and music that make up this album. Without their contributions this piece of work could not have been possible.
